Strong, healthy smiles. At Ocala Smiles in Ocala, Florida, our team helps clients achieve this by using custom dental crowns for their teeth. Whether you’ve got damage or want some cosmetic improvement, crowns offer a lasting solution that feels great, looks natural, and protects what matters most—your real teeth.
Chipped, cracked, or broken teeth can interfere with talking, eating, and your confidence. A crown is like a protective shell that restores your tooth’s strength and comfort.Â
Porcelain crowns are especially tough and blend with your natural teeth perfectly. When biting down hurts, a crown can fix it. Don’t live in pain another day that you don’t have to.
Every crown is custom-made to match your real teeth. Same color. Same size. Same shape. They fill gaps, cover worn edges, and even straighten your smile. Your tooth won’t stand out. No strange shine, no dark line at your gumline. Unless you tell them, no one will know it isn’t your real tooth.
Crowns last, on average, from 10 to 15 years or more if you treat them right. Some materials used to make them include:
To keep them going strong, you should brush twice a day, floss once a day, not skip your twice-a-year in-office cleanings, and avoid biting on hard stuff like ice.
While crowns look great, they aren’t just for show. They also shield your teeth from harm. It will stop cracks from spreading. Keep bacteria out. Supports your natural bite. Dr. Evelyn says, “A timely crown can save a tooth that might otherwise be lost.” That’s prevention built to last for the long haul.
Crowns can stand alone or team up with other treatments. Whatever your smile needs, crowns can be a part of that plan. Crowns can fix more than just cracks. They can be used to:
