Good oral health care is a lot easier when you have the right team behind you. That’s why many families trust Ocala Smiles Ocala, Florida, where Drs. Robert Evelyn, Wayne Harper, and their team make dental care a simple, hassle-free, and smooth experience. Whether you’re new to taking control of your oral health or need some pointers, here’s what you should know.
Most people should visit their dentist every six months. That’s enough time to catch small issues before they become big headaches. If you’ve got gum issues, cavities, or other concerns, you should come in a little more often. Would you like a custom-made plan for your smile? We can make that happen.
Brushing and flossing at home are vital parts of oral healthcare, but they can’t do it all. Professional deep cleanings remove tough plaque and tartar that toothbrushes can’t reach. They help prevent cavities, protect your gums, and brighten your smile in one treatment. Most people need deep cleanings twice a year to keep their smiles healthy and looking good.
The first thing you do is call us or contact an urgent care center if the pain is too much. Toothaches can come from infections, cavities, cracks, or gum issues. Waiting out the pain never works. Even if it goes away, it can signal something worse brewing. The sooner you seek help, the easier the fix. Our team can help you find safe and fast relief.
Keeping your teeth healthy between visits isn’t complicated. Here’s what you need to do:
Good habits at home will keep your checkups easy and your smile going strong.
Tooth-colored fillings almost mirror natural teeth. There are no silver flashes when you laugh or smile, and they’re mercury-free, too. These fillings are strong enough to last for years with the right care. We offer options that blend both for added support. Talk to us to learn which is best for you.
A root canal isn’t the nightmare people make it out to be. It’s a simple way to stop pain and prevent losing your natural tooth. Our dentists gently remove the infection inside the tooth, clean it out, and seal it up. When done right, you keep your smile healthy without needing a tooth extraction.
We provide helpful prevention tips and real treatments if your gums need help. Early action is key. Book your next visit by calling 352-867-7181 or stopping by 1800 SE 17th St STE 602, Ocala, FL 34471. Take the first step, you’ll thank yourself later.
