Permanent teeth won’t grow back once they go missing, but you can get the next best thing to replace these teeth – dental implants! Choosing dental implants for missing teeth helps restore your smile’s former glory. You can easily talk, eat, smile, and laugh with teeth implants. Dr. Robert Evelyn from Ocala Smiles is your go-to dentist for implants in Ocala, Florida.
If you need new teeth and are exploring your options for restorative treatment, consider dental implants. This treatment offers some outstanding benefits.
Implants restore your lost teeth and their roots to give you the look and feel of natural teeth. The titanium implant posts act like artificial tooth roots, keeping your new teeth stable and secure. Your restorations are custom-made to match the features of your real teeth, allowing them to blend in harmoniously with your smile.
Eating can be challenging with gaping holes in your mouth where your teeth used to be. Implant teeth will fill those holes to restore your bite and improve your chewing. Implant restorations restore full chewing power as they have tooth roots to keep them from coming loose. With improved chewing, you can eat a wider variety of foods, digest your food better, and get full nutritional value from what you eat.
Missing teeth can impact how you speak, as gaps in your mouth can cause you to slur your words or talk with a lisp. Replacing lost teeth with implants lets you articulate your words clearly, so you can communicate easily with others again.
Jawbone deterioration is common after tooth loss, as there are no tooth roots to stimulate bone regeneration. Implants function like tooth roots to stimulate bone growth and preserve your jaw. Dr. Evelyn can keep your jawbone and facial structure intact through implant treatment.
Your teeth rely on one another and the tooth roots for support. Tooth loss can destabilize your entire smile by taking away its support system. The teeth that remain may start to weaken and shift positions to fill the gaps in your mouth. This can lead to additional tooth loss. Implants restore lost tooth roots and support existing teeth to keep them strong and secure.
Implant restorations can last decades with good oral care, and titanium implants can last a lifetime. Dr. Evelyn and our team can help you permanently resolve tooth loss issues with dental implants.
Implant teeth care consists of daily brushing, flossing, and routine dental cleanings – the same as natural teeth. If you’re diligent in caring for your new teeth, they will provide you with many years of quality use.Â
