Most people start life with sparkling pearly whites, but over time, they can become more like “dull pearly yellows.” Besides aging, many other things can cause tooth staining and discoloration. But there’s good news for anyone who wants to get back the gorgeous smile of their youth. At Ocala Smiles, Dr. Robert Evelyn offers several paths to a brighter smile, including the popular KöR teeth whitening system.
The KöR system offered at Ocala Smiles treats stubborn stains and discoloration, especially tough stains caused by antibiotics. Dr. Evelyn plans each visit with your situation in mind and monitors your progress so you can be confident you’re receiving safe and effective treatment.

They’re shaped to exactly fit your teeth, so the whitening gel doesn’t slide around or miss spots. You’ll get a stronger formula than what’s sold in stores. That means better results.
One important thing to know is that professional whitening works better than anything you can buy in the toothpaste aisle at your local discount store. But also, the safety of these DIY options is questionable because they’re a one-size-fits-all solution. And that’s not how smiles work. Just as important, the results aren’t as strong as what you get from Dr. Evelyn.
Some foods and drinks can undo whitening results fast. To keep that brilliant smile, snack on crunchy foods like apples, celery, or carrots. They act like a mild scrub for your enamel. Here are some more tips to keep your smile brighter:
Whitening gives your teeth a fresh start, but keeping that brightness takes effort. Brushing twice every day helps prevent new stains from settling in. And don’t forget your regular checkups and cleanings at Ocala Smiles.
